Mickel Fiscian

A Ghanaian portrait and figurative painter based in Accra. His signature technique fuses newspaper collage with acrylic paint on canvas, a medium I developed from the materials of his upbringing. His practice centres on the lives of Black Ghanaian women, exploring identity, resilience, and self-definition through large-format portraiture that is as socially committed as it is aesthetically ambitious.
